Pointing device not working as mouse on
desktop
1. This could be a driver conflict or there could be no communication between tablet and computer.
2. Shut the computer down.
3. Unplug the tablet and let sit for 5-10 seconds then plug tablet back in to computer.
4. Restart the machine holding down the [shift] key on your keyboard.
Note: This will start your machine with the extensions disabled.
5. When the "Extensions Disabled" message is displayed
release the [shift] key.
6. Once the computer is booted check to see if the tablet is working as a mouse.
Note: Tablets will work as a mouse on the desktop with no driver installed (Macintosh only).
A. If the tablet is working try rebooting
again, this time normally. If the
tablet does not work it could be an
extension conflict. If it does work
it could have been static
build up.
B. If the tablet is not working then there
could be a hardware problem.
