Pen not picking on the tablet.

  1.  When you click the pointing device on the tablet does the power light continue to blink or is it solid?
  2.  If the power light continues to blink, it could be dead batteries or static build up.
  3.  If the power light is solid when a button  is pressed, but still does not move the cursor then the problem is most
       likely static build up.
  4.  Close all applications so that the only thing running is the Finder.
  5.  Open your hard drive, open your system folder and then open your preferences folder.
  6.  Look for "TabletWorks Prefs" (if you are running an older driver it could be "CALCOMP Prefs" or "Drawing Slate
Prefs") and drag the preference file to the trash.

Note:  When you throw away the preferences for your tablet, your mapping and button selections will be set to the factory default.  If this is a problem you can save a copy of your preference file on the desktop or in a folder.

  7.  Empty the trash and from the Special menu at the top of your screen select "Shut Down".
  8.  When your machine is shut down, unplug the tablet and let it site for 5 - 10 seconds.
  9.  Plug the tablet in and restart.
