COLUMBIA, MD – October 18, 2005 - GTCO CalComp, Inc. announces InterWrite PRS RF
the latest radio frequency version of its award-winning student response system, InterWrite PRS. The newest addition to the InterWrite PRS family, InterWrite PRS RF features a 2-line LCD display that allows students to see their answers and receive instant notification that they were successfully transmitted to the teacher. The 16-character display is also ideal to use for self-paced testing, allowing students to easily scroll through a series of questions and answer at their own pace. In addition to multiple choice and true/false questions, teachers now have a powerful tool that allows them to ask advanced numeric questions with positive and negative numbers and decimal points. Utilizing the latest in radio frequency technology, InterWrite PRS RF is easy to set up and can be used in any setting, from the smallest of classrooms to lecture halls with up to 2,000 students.

InterWrite PRS software, available for both the Windows® and Mac OS X® operating environments, is included free with the Company’s new InterWrite PRS RF and existing IR systems. InterWrite PRS software allows users to create their quizzes and lessons within the PRS software by easily converting PowerPoint® slides or by importing questions developed by leading textbook publishers. InterWrite PRS software also offers a robust set of grading, reporting and data management features, such as the ability to export student results to leading learning management systems like Blackboard Learning Systems™, WebCT™ and WebAssign®.
