GTCO CalComp
Expands the Super L III Product Line with New Offering
October 6, 2003–GTCO CalComp announced today the release of their new Super
L III 30”x36”. The 3036 adds to the sizes currently available in
the Super L III product line. Other sizes include 20x24, 24x36, 36x48
and 44x60, making the Super L III the most complete large-format
digitizer line available on the market.
“The new 3036 provides an optimal size for many of our customers,”
says Rob Meissner, VP of Marketing. “In many cases, customers needed
larger active area sizes than the 24x36 but a smaller physical footprint
than the 36x48, which the 30x36 satisfies.”
This introduction of the 3036 brings more options to the already popular
Super L III series. The Super L III is a family of high quality
digitizers that set the standard in large-format digitizing. The Super L
III digitizers best suit professionals in construction estimating,
textiles and facilities management applications. The Super L III series
of digitizers is compatible with all major software packages for DOS and
MS Windows environments. GTCO CalComp delivers the Super L III
digitizers with an automatic configuration program to simplify the
installation process. In addition, the Super L III gives users the
choice of using corded or cordless pointing devices, like slim-styled
pens and multi-buttoned cursors to easily get information into a digital
format, whether it is a set of blueprints, maps or textile patterns.
Founded in 1975, GTCO was awarded a patent for the invention of the
world's first absolute-position electromagnetic digitizing technology.
Since then, GTCO CalComp has produced and now supports over one million
input systems in fifty countries around the world, sold under some of
the most recognized brand names in the peripherals industry. With
offices in Columbia MD, Scottsdale AZ, Munich Germany and Vienna
Austria, GTCO CalComp continues to focus on developing input peripherals
that dramatically improve individual and group productivity worldwide.
