InterWrite PRS Software 3.2 Increases Educators’ Options for Developing and Delivering Classroom Assessments

Latest software release now includes PowerPoint® integration for Macintosh® computers and a new self-paced mode.

June 28, 2005–GTCO CalComp, Inc. announced today the release of Version 3.2 of the InterWrite PRS Software that powers its award-winning classroom response system–InterWrite PRS. The upgraded software expands educators’ options for developing and delivering questions and lessons using PRS. 

The latest software expands the options for educators using the Macintosh operating system (“Mac”) by including an easy-to-use add-in that enables them to create and deliver questions in PowerPoint on Mac computers. The new release also includes a self-paced mode that gives teachers the flexibility to have students answer PRS questions at their own pace. For our customers with large class sizes, InterWrite PRS 3.2 simplifies class roster management for educators using Blackboard Learning Systems™, with a new add-in module that enables students to easily register their transmitters when they log into their Blackboard class site.

Features of the newly released InterWrite PRS Software include:

	Self-paced mode allows students to work at their own pace on quizzes and tests.
	Blackboard add-in module for easy student registration of transmitters at class Web site.
	Add-in for PowerPoint 2003 for Mac OS X.
	New reports including: Lesson questions, session reports and class rosters.
	New capability to easily edit grades in the PRS Gradebook.
	Enhanced charting capabilities allowing educators to view results in 3-D and pie-charts.
	Rename PRS Sessions, Lessons and Gradebooks as desired.
	Export lessons to native InterWrite PRS.
