InterWrite Meeting Services Enables Collaboration Worldwide

April 30, 2001 – GTCO CalComp Inc. announced today the release of their new InterWrite Meeting Services. Designed to provide full access to meeting content over the Internet, meeting participants in remote locations can now have as much input and control over presentation materials as those in the conference room. InterWrite Meeting Services, when combined with the InterWrite Meeting Suite, form an extremely easy, technically advanced, professional and effective means to hold meetings, collaborate and train for corporations, government and educational institutions.

InterWrite Meeting Services, delivered via WebEx, is designed to allow everyone in an organization the ability to contribute and collaborate over the Internet. WebEx is the premier service for hosting interactive meetings on-line. It allows users to collaborate using only a web browser. Users all log into a common, password protected website and can view, modify and control the presented materials, real time. Using InterWrite Software, users can modify, highlight or annotate the presentation materials so that all participants can view the changes. When utilized with the rest of the InterWrite Suite of products, InterWrite Meeting Services provides the ultimate collaborative experience for education and meetings.

GTCO CalComp will be releasing two different subscription services of the InterWrite Meeting Services, Meeting Center and Business Exchange. The two services differ in the number of users with access at a time. InterWrite Meeting Services provides for an unlimited number of people on a per connection subscription basis. Business Exchange allow for only four connections at a time.
